Don't believe in God? You are not alone! The San Antonio Atheist Group is for Atheists, Agnostics, Secular Humanists, Freethinkers, Skeptics, and other "non-theistic” friendly people looking for a place to meet like-minded individuals and engage in discussions on any topic from a non-religious perspective. Living in the overtly religious culture of San Antonio, we all know how hard it is to meet others like us. The purpose of this group is to build a refuge and community for non-believers in the local area.


This is a social/discussion group only; we are not activists. If you are interested in activism, there are several local groups suited to this purpose. It is also not an arena for the religious to attempt to "save" an Atheist.


Anyone who goes by Atheist, Agnostic, or any other non-religious moniker is welcome. We usually meet several times a month, often at restaurants for dinner, conversation, and drinks, as well as book discussions, movie night, and other social events. Be sure to check out the message board for the latest updates, recommended websites, books, and movies, and to post any suggestions you may have.
