I wonder what this guy was doing in Panama?

My family is from there, and I grew up there, and never once did I have that issue, nor did anybody I know ever have that issue.

Hmmm, it's pretty nasty though.

He must have been rolling around in the mud down there.

I thought (hoped?) this was a fake, but Wikipedia has a little write-up that's consistent. The website the video links to at the end also has some interesting info.

Great videos, Dave. Thanks! In the video I posted, we were given no indication of what it felt like or what was happening inside. I guess it's one of those things that sounds much worse than it is, seeing as how the botfly will extract itself after six weeks and leave the host unharmed (if he can even stand it for that long...).
