Dad's a sweet little dive bar where no one can feel ashamed bellowing his/her favorite tunes. So, let's a go, get a little liquid courage (with some designated drivers of course), and belt out a few tunes.

To sweeten the deal, three (small) prizes will be given to members of our group - one for the Best Individual Singer, one for Best Individual Effort, and one for Best Group (2 or more) Singers.

* Best Effort means that you put your whole heart into it, so anyone can win - even if they still sound like sick alley cat coughing up a lung.

Come and sing a few songs, have a few drinks, vote, or all three, but just come to have a good time.

    I lost my voice over the weekend, sounds/feels like pneumonia. I'll brush up on my Janis Joplin in case it's not cleared by then.

      “ Had a great time with everyone - and you have to admit it - we've got some talent in the group, only to be overshadowed by our fearlessness exhibited by those with not so much talent ;) Service at the venue was a bit lacking, and I heard from a few people that the bartender was a bit rude. That and the fact that it took -forever- to get a drink from the waitress and closing out was a pain due to their computer problems. They routinely get large crowds so they should be used to it. Not my favorite venue. ”
