Welcome to the premier meetup of the SA Atheists' Girls Only Club. (This is just the first of many events to come. Future events will include dancing, eating, drinking, etc.) This is our chance to discuss boys, shoes, makeup, and whatever comes to mind... (stuff that we can't usually discuss around the male species) wink

Mad Hatters' seems to have a pretty good looking brunch menu, which includes some vegetarian options - and don't forget the "Fish Bowl" Mimosas!

Remember, this is a no-stinky boys event! tongue

I love Mad Hatters and will go back any time. :) Thanks for organizing, Michelle. Next time we should go for dessert. And thanks for the zucchini bread, Danielle. Delicious!

They brought the food to you. You just had to order at the front register. They do it that way so they keep the number of employees low to reduce overhead. I had never been there before, didn't know it would be an issue. My bad. I thought the place had charm with a casual atmosphere. The food was tasty, and the staff was very accommodating for a party of 12.

This place didn't have waiters. Can you believe they expected me to get up and get my stuff myself? The nerve. >:(

I'm going to be late, closer to 12:30. If you have to leave by then, I understand. But I will be hungry by then!

Are you talking about that guy who asked where all the single women were? I guess he mistook meetup for match.com

When we had a couple meetups comprised mostly of guys, we also had a complaint that it was an "athiest sausage fest" (and yes, he misspelled atheist). ...and by the way, the correct term is brodeo.

Taylor, let's just show up and sit in the corner. We'll laugh really loud like we're having fun, and act offended if they talk to us.

yeah yeah. i've told people that the rest of the time its white history year. this is *not the same thing. there's never been a man's meetup. but there is a womanly meetup. so if we're keeping score, so far its you gals that are marginalizing us. (in the historical confines of this group, only) But really, i'm all for it. have fun.
